Liberal professions without licence requirement
Unlike for example doctors, lawyers or architects, in some liberal professions you can work without having to provide evidence of specific requirements or having to become a member of a chamber.
Above all, the development of new occupational fields has been taken into account with such liberal professions. Examples are activities as a writer (e.g. journalists, publicists, authors, lectors) or artistic activities (e.g. performing artists, directors, entertainers)
These professions can be exercised without formal licence requirements, however some training or specific technical knowledge is necessary to exercise the profession successfully or for a successful career start. It is also necessary normally to meet specific requirements in order to be recognized as a freelancer for tax purposes.
Particular requirements apply for compulsory insurance.
